Talk Trials
Created a campaign that encapsulated Merck’s broader mission to lower health disparities by pushing for enrolling a wide range of participants in clinical trials to make sure vaccines and medicines work across ethnicities, races, and genders. We did this by creatively helping with their collaboration with programs and events that align with this mission, such as the Essence Festival, where Merck could hold a workshop to spread the word about the importance of clinical trials. Through a platform that emphasized the importance of sparking conversations about opportunities to partake in clinical research initiatives, Dr. Adrelia Allen, Executive Director of Clinical Trial Patient Diversity at Merck, could dive into why diversity and inclusion in clinical trials matters and what Merck is doing to help ensure diverse representation in their clinical trials.
